The Petition
...do hereby petition the members of the U.S. Congressional and Executive branches of government to uphold their oaths to defend the Constitution of the United States of America. Should a member fail to defend the Constitution I pledge to take the following actions:
1) Demand his or her immediate resignation from elected office.
2) if 1 is not satisfied, then I will demand his or her immediate impeachment from elected office.
3) if 1 or 2 are not satisfied, then I will boycott and/or protest any donor or donor's organization that contributes to his or her political campaign(s) and will vote against him or her in the next election, if eligible.
If engaged in by the aforementioned members the following are specific efforts that will trigger the above actions:
A) A vote or approval in favor of a health care bill that includes a public option, abortion coverage, coverage for illegal aliens, increased health care costs (including health insurance premiums, taxes on health insurance, or new taxes on Americans), increased budget deficits, or increased government control over health insurance or health care.
B) A vote or approval in favor of Cap and Trade legislation that increases energy costs to American consumers or taxpayers.
C) A vote or approval in favor of the Fairness Doctrine or similar legislation that infringes on citizen's rights per the First Amendment.
D) A vote or approval that violates citizen's rights to bear arms per the Second Amendment.
E) Allowing earmarks or campaign donations to change political action he or she takes, such as casting a vote, in opposition to his or her constituency.

Contact Your Senators Immediately - Last Ditch Effort to Stop the "Health" Bill
You can reach your senator by phone by dialing the Capitol switchboard and asking for him or her by name at one of the following number:
(202)224-3121
You can also contact your senator via email by clicking here, scrolling down to his or her name, then clicking the link for the "web form." Fill out the form and submit. Make sure your subject line reads something to the effect of "Vote AGAINST health care reform bill."
This bill must be stopped; if it is not (which seems likely at this point) then we must work zealously to remove from office the senators and representatives who voted for it. The "health care" bill is another government entitlement program destined to further bankrupt our country while failing to meet its objectives. In fact, the always-underestimates-the-cost Congressional Budget Office is predicting it will fail to meet its objectives before it's even passed. Here are just a few of the problems with the bill:
1) It creates a "Health Choices Commissioner" whose job is to determine what constitutes a "qualified" health plan. Within the earlier of 5 years or when any term or condition of your existing health insurance changes your health plan must become a "qualified" health plan. This is direct government control over your health insurance. By the way, the HCC is appointed by the President - just in case you didn't have enough to worry about already.
2) In addition to being unconstitutional (not that Congress is concerned), the fines and imprisonment for failure to buy health insurance aren't sufficient motivation for everyone to purchase insurance. The low fines and law preventing insurers from rejecting new customers will guarantee people will purchase health insurance only when they have a real need. This will raise premiums for all those who do carry insurance and drive many insurers out of business (which the Progressives/Liberals desperately want).
3) Although they sound great, provisions preventing refusal of coverage for pre-existing conditions and lifetime payout caps will necessarily increase insurance premiums thereby raising costs for everyone.
4) Nothing is done to address the actual source of rising health CARE (not insurance) costs! These sources include frivolous lawsuits, moral hazard (insurance speak for the end consumer not knowing what the costs of their health care services are - the bill only exacerbates this problem), illegal immigrants taking advantage of our health care system without paying for it, and over-regulation (again made worse by the bill).
5) Myriad kickbacks and payouts to the AMA, politicians, pharmaceuticals, the SEIU (yes, it's in there - I've read the bill), and liberal organizations. This is more aptly described as the "Buy Your Vote" bill.
6) The bill establishes health review panels that are tasked with determining and recommending the best medical outcomes for various procedures. Sound familiar? It should. The same language was used by the federal research group that determined women didn't need pap smears or mammograms at the intervals recommended by the American Cancer Society. More sinister are the sections describing how the recommendations will be implemented. Recall the Health Choices Commissioner? That person will be deciding what your insurer pays for; if your insurer opts to cover more then it will undoubtedly be taxed as a "Cadillac" plan.
7) New taxes. The Obama administration and Congress view the private sector as a limitless bank account and as long as they write checks out of the "wealthy" account there is no backlash from the populace. In addition to it being a bill of attainder specifically forbade by the Constitution, raising taxes on any segment of the population is a forula for economic disaster - fewer jobs and slower economic growth.
Need more reasons? No problem, just contact us at the link provided on the left and I will happily include more. But right now you need to contact your Senators!
Don't forget to sign the petition and tell your friends...we don't have billions of dollars to buy our politicians off so we have to get rid of the bad politicians and the only way to do so is with the power of numbers. Join the Revolution.
