Are you watching, horrified, as President Obama, his administration, and the corrupt politicians proceed to sink our great nation into fiscal oblivion? Do you worry about your children and grandchildren laboring endlessly to pay for the massive national debt? Does the health "care" bill have you setting aside money so you can afford to seek treatment in India? Are you constantly wondering what you can do to stop the destruction of the United States of America? The Liberty Petition Project is answering that question by engendering a new (peaceful) revolution aiming to remove the politicians that stand in the way of liberty and our Constitution.
If we are to be successful in our revolution to rid the government of its corrupted politicians (I think that's just about all of them) then we must separate the politicians from their money supplies. The fundamental problem in American Politics today is that our politicians are completely dependent upon; therefore subservient to, big money donors and lobbyists. To win a political campaign you need money, and lots of it, because people vote based upon name recognition and image. We, the ordinary folks, a.k.a. "We the People," don't offer any value to a politician because we don't hold the key ($) to power and influence. We are about to change that by influencing through the power of numbers.

However, separating big donors from the politicians who do their bidding is no simple task. Asking them, "Hey...would you mind not donating to politicians bent on fundamentally transforming America anymore?" doesn't go very far; especially when those donors share an ideology with the politicians. What we need is a Tiger Woods effect. When it becomes damaging to your brand to endorse a person because of his ill repute you withdraw your sponsorship. If we are to win this revolution we must make it too costly (financially, brand image, etc.) for campaign contributors and endorsers to continue to support the corrupt politicians.
How do we do that? We start by joining together. Dare I say organizing? Whether it be through Tea Parties, 9/12ers, or the Liberty Petition Project - we must amass a group of gargantuan proportions. Then in unison we must come out against those who donate to or endorse corrupt politicians, politicians who don't hold true to their oath of office. Not every donor can be boycotted, but they can all be protested. Instead of throwing our protests out against the deaf ears of the politicians we wish to remove from office we need to increase the cost of supporting them by publicly revealing that their donors support tyranny and standing together to oppose the donors as a massive public voice.
Some donors are more difficult. Unions, for example. However, in the next few weeks I'm going to introduce concepts and plans for dealing with even the most cantankerous, untouchable donors. For those who join the revolution and are unions members I will provide you with information on decertifying your union and a little used method that's even better than being a Beck Objector. We don't necessarily need to go after every donor, we just need to make examples out of the most visible ones.
For now, Step 1: we must join together, pledging to protest and boycott campaign donors. Enlist your friends, neighbors, co-workers, and family to join the Liberty Petition Project. As we grow in numbers we will being enacting our plan.
